Inspired by the sunlit hills of Provence, Maison Zia was born from Virgil’s lifelong passion for fragrance. He envisioned a house that would blend the storied traditions of French perfumery with modern creativity. Guided by this dream, each Maison Zia scent is meticulously crafted in France with master perfumers from the historic Grasse region. Grasse is revered as the “world capital of perfume”, its artisanal heritage even recognized by UNESCO as an intangible cultural treasure. This living legacy infuses each bottle of Maison Zia with authenticity and prestige. In Virgil’s own words, every Maison Zia perfume “begins as an inspiration – a whisper of memory or place – then becomes an artful creation,” reflecting both his personal journey and an homage to fragrance history.

At the heart of each Maison Zia fragrance is pure artistry. Each perfume is hand-blended, aged, and bottled by skilled artisans using a hands-on, small-batch approach. This intimate scale means we can incorporate rare, delicate ingredients – real jasmine absolute, vintage oud woods, hand-harvested spices – that imbue our scents with extraordinary depth and soul. Every bottle is, literally, the signature of the maker: a product of careful, manual assembly.
